TWELVE WAYS TO INVEST IN THE
YOUTH MASTER PLAN FOR FOURTH WARD:

A vision put together by local youth to restore their
national historic neighborhood of Freedmen's Town --
The last remaining settlement of its kind left in the U.S.A.

4 Will pay for a youth membership, or will pay for one session of program services
40 Will buy a youth a complete uniform, or pay for a child's school supplies, or buy a meal for a ball team
400 Will pay for a team's uniforms, or buy a child's school clothes for one semester, or provide paid training and work experience for a junior worker for one month
4,000 Will fund a youth sports league, or underwrite operational costs for one month for one or more of our youth centers, or provide scholarship assistance to one or more students
40,000 Will homestead a long-term volunteer family, or purchase a large van or mini-bus, or underwrite the cost of professional consulting as needed to sustain youth development programs
400,000 Will train and develop 40 volunteer families in basic computer literacy and other job skills, or will pay operating costs of the Fourth Ward Center for Youth for one full year
4 million Will establish a trust fund to sustain the youth program, protect residents, and develop the Youth Master Plan for Fourth Ward
40 million Will purchase the land and property in the Freedmen's Town historic district and related areas to secure a land-bank trust
400 million Will fund a sustainable first-class state-of-the-art medical research center, located at the 4th Ward Jefferson Davis Hospital
1.4 billion Will restore the Freedmen's Town neighborhood to its original state as a thriving historical community
4.1 billion Will fund the Youth Master Plan and recover funds mismanaged by others
