HEAVEN HELP US ALL...
					...AND GIVE ME TO TEXAS!

		Heaven help us all
...and give me to Texas when I rest or fall,
Houston, less there be Blue Bonnets elsewhere

			Show me

	The... Astro City stratosphere
Austin hill country... The Golden Triange
	...San Jacinto battle grounds
The Gulf of Galveston's bay... all that brine
				Mexico Blue... deep and forever
...absorbing my time in imaginary trail rides

I love the smell of magnolias.

rhymes see the world with me by their side... at
			tunes
						IN Ohio!
		...Indiana...Illinois...

These rhymes see the world with me by their side...

St. Louis in the midnight...
Out my railroading window is the
	arched gateway
to the
West Side
... The wide crooked letter river flows
						absorbing

Still, I know Texas is a little bit of every where.

	Like Farm Road twenty-two-thirty-four...
						From
				Sacramento to Baltimore...
Home is where the heart is... I adore the Lone Star state!
					Oh...
... Bury me in the silt,
just under all the southern comfort,
	... less
there be Blue Bonnets elsewhere

			Heaven help us all
and give to me
... Texas, when I rest or fall.

I love the amber glow of grain fields,
The season's yield reflecting the sun set,

					and
				     absorbing
					imaginary trail rides
					Less
there be Blue Bonnets elsewhere !
